You can then apply the final coat of oil or polish by smoothing the putty and dry surface.

Rubio Monocoat Tannin Remover is a surface stain cleaner used to remove traces of tannin or similar oils that may form on wooden surfaces over time or during use. It is sprayed on the tannin traces formed under the pot or glass. After waiting a few minutes, the surface is dried with a paper towel. If the stain does not come off in one application, the process is repeated. It can be used on polished or oiled wood.

Rubio Monocoat maintenance oil is a maintenance oil that can be used on all worn, polished or oil finished surfaces.
